COLLECTIONS

MARGALO

Some materials arrive already finished by nature. Pearls are one of them.

The Margalo collection pairs freshwater and Tahitian pearls with clean precise metalwork that steps back and lets the pearl do the talking. From the quietest seed pearl to a gem quality Tahitian, each one is hand selected for its natural lustre and the individual character that only an organic material can hold.

No two are identical. That is the point.

URBANE

There is a satisfying geometry to a perfectly formed sphere. Urbane explores exactly that.

Silver and gold beads of varying sizes create rhythm and movement, whether clustered on hoops or gliding freely on wire. This collection is about the relationship between shape, weight and light. Simple in concept, considered in execution.

Jewellery that moves with you.

WABI-SABI

There is a particular tension at the heart of every Wabi-Sabi piece.

Wire is geometry. Straight lines, precise angles, the kind of form that implies control and uniformity. A dome is the opposite. A curve that slips away from geometry in every direction at once, soft and organic and impossible to make perfectly identical twice.

Every piece in this collection places one against the other and lets the tension do the work.

Each dome is hand-formed in the studio. A circle of silver placed in a doming block and struck with a dome punch, the process repeated until the depth and curve feel right. Not until they measure right. Until they feel right. Because no two strikes are identical and no two domes are either. The variation is not a flaw. It is the whole point.

The wires and beads are soldered onto the front of each dome by hand. Their placement is considered and close to consistent but never perfectly repeatable. This is jewellery that could only have been made by a person, not a machine.

The collection takes its name and its pieces from Japanese. Wabi-Sabi, the philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection and transience, gives the collection its soul. The individual piece names give each design its own identity within that philosophy.

This is not jewellery that pretends to be perfect. It is jewellery that understands why perfect was never the point.

TANKIN

Every hammer mark is deliberate.

Tankin pieces are hand hammered to create faceted surfaces that catch and scatter light in ways a polished finish never could. The texture is irregular because hands are irregular. That unpredictability is not a flaw, it is the whole point.

Beaten silver that carries the mark of the maker.

ITI

Small in scale. Anything but an afterthought.

Iti is built for layering, delicate pendants on fine chains designed to be worn alone or collected over time into something entirely your own. Start with one. Add another. Wear them your way.

This is where most people begin their Porini story.

SPECTRUM

Colour is easy. Colour that makes you catch your breath is something else.

Spectrum is built on juxtaposition. Pairings that create a moment of doubt followed immediately by certainty. Not the safe single stone that disappears into the background but combinations chosen to make you stop, look twice, and then smile.

You only live once. Dare to be bold.

These are pieces for the woman who has moved past playing it safe and into playing it her way.
