COMMISSIONS
Some pieces are built from nothing. Some already exist and need saving. Both are commissions. Both start with a conversation, not a catalogue. The difference is whether we're starting from an empty bench or from something you already own.

PATH ONE
BUILT FROM SCRATCH
Engagement rings, club and event pieces, one-off designs built around a stone or an idea you haven't seen made yet. You bring the brief. I bring forty years on the bench.
PATH TWO
GIVEN NEW LIFE
Inherited rings, broken chains, brooches nobody's worn since the funeral. Good metal and good stones, wrong setting for the life you actually live. I remake it into something you'll reach for.
PATH ONE • BUILT FROM SCRATCH
FROM NOTHING BUT AN IDEA
A stone, a conversation, and an empty bench.
Some commissions start with a diamond and no fixed plan. One recent piece began as a three-stone sapphire and diamond ring, built in 9ct white and yellow gold from a single conversation and a stone the client already owned. That's the brief I like best: clear intent, room for me to design.
O1
THE CONVERSATION
What the piece needs to mean, not just how it should look. This is the part most jewellers skip.
O2
THE DESIGN
Sketches and metal options, refined until it's right, before anything goes ahead at the bench.
O3
THE CRAFTING
Formed, soldered and finished by hand. Stone setting goes to a trusted specialist when the piece calls for it.
O4
THE REVEAL
Fitted, finished, and yours. Most creations take four to six weeks from first conversation to finished piece.
PATH TWO • REWORKED
YOUR MOTHER'S BROOCH DESERVES BETTER THAN A DRAWER
Inherited jewellery, remade for the life you actually live.
Sentimental, valuable, but never worn. That describes most inherited jewellery I see. The stone is beautiful, the setting is fifty years out of date, and it sits in a drawer because nobody wants to be the one who changes it. It's not disloyal. It's jewellery. Rework it into something you can show the love it represents.
O1
THE ITEMS
Old rings, broken clasps, mismatched earrings, stones from a setting that's seen better days. Bring all of it.
O2
THE PROBLEMS
You tell me why you won't wear it. I tell you honestly what's worth keeping and what isn't.
O3
THE REDESIGN
Something crafted for how you actually dress, not how the original owner did.
O4
THE REVIVAL
Not admired from a drawer once a year. Worn, the way it was always meant to be.
