Five cream freshwater pearls graduate naturally to a 10mm centre pearl, two 8mm pearls flanking it on each side, each one individually hand linked onto a fine sterling silver cable chain through a twisted wire loop. The graduated sizing draws the eye to the centre with the unhurried certainty of something that knows exactly what it's doing.
The construction is as considered as the design. Each pearl is connected to the chain individually, the wire twisted by hand at every link. Nothing about this necklace happened quickly.
