The same flower. A completely different language.
Where the Flora daisy is carved in relief the Iti Daisy is defined by absence. Petal shapes cut from a domed piece of sterling silver, the flower revealed through negative space rather than added detail. A silver bead at the centre anchors the design and lifts it into three dimensions, the light passing through the cutout petals and landing differently on whatever sits behind it.
Architectural and botanical at the same time. The daisy reimagined as structure rather than ornament.
Sterling silver, domed with cut petal detail and silver bead centre, approximately 1cm, 45cm chain. Handmade in New Zealand by Sue Dunmore, Porini Design Studio.
Iti Daisy Pendant
Every piece is individually crafted in our New Zealand workshop using traditional silversmithing and goldsmithing techniques.
Handforming metal means each item will have subtle variations - this is the hallmark of genuine handcraft, not mass production.

A beautiful dainty necklace perfect for my teen daughter. As soon as she saw it she fell in love and this is saying something as she's not a "jewellery person". Thank you for creating such special pieces.
