Not every hoop is a circle. This one is better than that.
Insit is formed from 1.8mm sterling silver wire, shaped into an 18mm ellipse and curved over a former to introduce a subtle wave into the metal. The curve is not dramatic. It is just enough to give the hoop movement and life, the difference between a geometric form and something that feels handmade because it is.
The ellipse is soldered closed, the post coming directly off the form as one continuous piece of silver. An 8mm bronze freshwater pearl is suspended from the base on a twisted wire loop, moving freely with the same independent swing as the Ambit hoops.
The warm copper-chocolate tones of the bronze pearl against the cool sterling silver is a combination that works across every season and every skin tone. Rich without being loud. Contemporary without being cold.
Pairs beautifully with the Waves ring from the Urbane collection. Both are formed from the same wire, shaped over the same former, carrying the same subtle wave. Worn together they are a quiet conversation between two pieces that speak the same language.
