Four 8mm freshwater pearls graduate in colour along a sterling silver chain, moving from cream through pink to a larger silver-grey pearl at the longer end. The silver-grey pearl acts as the natural stop, its weight holding the longer end in place as the lariat drapes asymmetrically across the collarbone. A single silver bead adds quiet punctuation along the way.
The colour journey from cream to silver-grey is not abrupt. It moves the way light moves across water, one tone shifting almost imperceptibly into the next until you arrive somewhere completely different from where you began.
Wear it loosely looped for a relaxed drape. Pull it tighter for a more structured line. The same necklace reads differently depending on how you choose to wear it that day, which is entirely the point.
