Each pearl in this necklace was formed by chance. Keshi pearls have no nucleus. They exist because the oyster decided to keep making nacre long after it should have stopped. Pure nacre, through and through. No two identical. No two the same shade of soft silver grey.
They are hand linked in sterling silver wire, each pearl individually connected to the next. Not strung. Linked. It's a different thing entirely and you can see it in the way the necklace moves.
The pearls sit at the collarbone where they can be seen. A fine sterling silver chain carries the necklace around the back of the neck where it can be felt. Or rather where it can't be felt. That's the point. The comfort is designed in.
