A hand-formed sterling silver dome, made in the same way as every dome that leaves this studio, anchors a delicate 6mm pale pink amethyst suspended below on a fine jump ring. The dome is not just a setting. It is a deliberate choice. The polished silver surface softens the amethyst's colour, creating a subtle shimmer rather than an outright statement. The pink arrives gently. The light catches it when it wants to.
At 15mm the drop is present without demanding attention. The dome does what domes do best, it absorbs light on its curve while the stone below catches it. Two completely different surfaces in quiet conversation.
