The clasp that became the point.
Two halves of a sterling silver bangle meet at a teardrop charm tipped with a 9ct gold bead, the hook mechanism that closes the bangle designed to be seen rather than hidden. Two small gold circles sit either side of the droplet, creating balanced detail that frames the clasp and completes the composition.
The functional element is the decorative one. The necessity became the beauty. That's considered design at its most honest.
