Kizuna. Bond. Connection.
The same crossed wire design as the satin Kizuna, interpreted in an entirely different conversation between materials.
Two 9ct yellow gold wires cross at the centre of a high polish silver dome. Where the satin version creates contrast through surface finish, this one creates it through metal. The warmth of gold against the cool mirror of polished silver. The X at the centre now reads as something more deliberate, a mark made in a precious material on a precious surface.
Both Kizuna pieces share the same name and the same fundamental design. They are the same bond expressed in two different languages.
Available in small 1cm, medium 1.2cm, or large 1.4cm. Sterling silver dome with 9ct yellow gold wire detail, high polish. Post soldered to centre, butterfly back. Handmade in New Zealand by Sue Dunmore, Porini Design Studio.
